Carlotta Coquette is a New Orleans-based burlesque performer and producer. Born and raised in New Orleans, Carlotta Coquette is a proud graduate of the Nola School of Burlesque. She’s been performing on local stages since 2019, and produces her own shows through Carlotta Coquette Productions. Her signature show is Sapphic Speakeasy, a twice-annual all-lesbian/Sapphic burlesque and drag revue that you can catch at Pride and at Decadence. Carlotta likes to challenge what people expect to see on a burlesque stage, by tapping into either humor or even sadness and grief in her performances, but she can bring classic, sensual burlesque to the stage, too. Mostly, she just doesn't know how to take her clothes off without oversharing with her audience.
